🦋 There’s a butterfly hiding in your recycling.
Watch artist Patrick Bullock turn an everyday milk carton into a butterfly puppet, then have a go at home. All you need is a clean poly-carton, scissors and something to colour with.

Barking Riverside’s unique natural environment, wildlife and insects are the inspiration behind a new artwork by Luke Jerram and Pneuhaus called Pollenarium. You can see the artwork at Emerge East between 11am and 9pm on Saturday 12 September. As well as presenting Pollenarium, Creative Barking and Dagenham are organising a special parade on the day celebrate the amazing pollinators of Barking Riverside.
You’re invited to join our FREE Pollinator Parade at Emerge East on Saturday 12 September. The fun starts at 11am and there will be lots of free activities for people of all ages to enjoy. You can make something to wear or carry in the parade 11am-3pm. The parade starts at 4pm. Meet 3.30pm at Station Gardens next to Barking Riverside Station to join in!
