Help us bring buzz, colour and spectacle to Emerge East.

Barking Riverside’s unique natural environment, wildlife and insects are the inspiration behind Luke Jerram’s Pollenarium—and we’re bringing this to life with a special parade celebrating the amazing pollinators of Barking Riverside.

11am – 3pm – Drop in making at ‘The Hive’ – our making tents at Emerge East next to Station Gardens by Barking Riverside Station.

3.30pm – Meet at ‘The Hive’ (next to Station Gardens by Barking Riverside Station) and get ready be part of the parade

4pm – Parade

Between 11am and 3pm you can join us for a colourful, hands-on workshop where you’ll help create pollinator-inspired artworks to wear or carry on the Pollinator Parade.

Discover the fascinating creatures behind the flowers, get creative, and let your imagination take flight as we make artworks that will fill Emerge East with colour, movement and joy!

You’ll meet friendly local artists and explore a wide range of colourful designs and materials. All ages are welcome and no experience is needed.

At 4pm, come celebrate with us in a spectacular parade featuring Kinetica Bloko, Konverse Dance, Noah the Planet and a vibrant procession of your pollinator-inspired creations!
