Barking Riverside’s unique natural environment, wildlife and insects are the inspiration behind Pollenarium—and we’re bringing this to life with a special parade celebrating the amazing pollinators of Barking Riverside.

Join us for a colourful, hands-on workshop where you’ll help create pollinator-inspired artworks for our community to wear or carry in a Pollinator Parade at Emerge East.

Discover the fascinating creatures behind the flowers, get creative, and let your imagination take flight as we make artworks that will fill Emerge East with colour, movement and joy!

You’ll meet friendly local artists and explore a wide range of colourful designs and materials. The workshops are also a chance to chat, make friends and connect with your local community.

All ages are welcome and no experience is needed. Come along, get creative and celebrate the wonderful world of Barking Riverside pollinators with us!
