If you’re intrigued by the incredible forces of the Sun and Moon and want to explore how they have inspired artists throughout history, why not join us for a free day out to the Saatchi Gallery?
We’re organising a trip so Barking & Dagenham residents can experience THE SUN AND THE MOON, a major exhibition exploring how these powerful forces in the sky have inspired artists across cultures and generations.
The exhibition features incredible artworks and installations, including ‘Helios’, a monumental sculpture of the Sun by renowned artist @LukeJerram. Visitors will also enjoy a guided tour with the Saatchi Gallery learning team, followed by a hands on creative workshop inspired by the exhibition.
We’ll travel together from Barking, enjoy the experience as a group and be back by mid afternoon.
Places are free and will be allocated through a ballot. The ballot is open now and closes on 19 August at 11:59pm. Successful applicants will be notified on 20 August.
This trip is for adults aged 18+ only, and you must be a resident of Barking & Dagenham to enter.
