Introducing the 2025 cohort
A new wave of home-grown creatives to lead community-led projects across East London.
15 artists from East London have been selected as part of a pioneering new programme to commission exceptional new artwork alongside the East London Creative Communities.
This innovative programme combines an artist commission with support from Art School Plus to build skills in producing community-led art projects for public spaces. New artwork developed alongside local communities will be be unveiled in Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Newham, and Redbridge. These artworks could range from permanent public artworks, to original theatre and outdoor performances.
Funding News
We have been awarded additional funding from Arts Council England.
This funding will allow us to continue our work up-to March 2026. We are incredibly pleased to be able to bring even more incredible creative opportunities to residents.
We are part of the Creative People and Places programme, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Thanks to National Lottery players, Creative People and Places is about more people taking the lead in choosing, creating and taking part in creative and cultural experiences where they live.
